1999 Chevrolet C2500 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1999 Chevrolet C2500 covers five body configurations, the most in this run: the standard cab, two- and three-door extended cabs, a four-door crew cab and the cab and chassis. Four engines serve them, the 5.0L and 7.4L gasoline V8s, a 5.7L V8 that accepts gasoline or compressed natural gas, and the turbocharged 6.5L diesel. Trims are Base, 400 SS, Austera, Cheyenne, Custom and LS. With five shells in play, the body and wiring sections carry real weight.

Known issues on the 1999 C2500. Nothing is recorded against this year federally: no recalls and no owner complaints. The manual therefore reads as a reference rather than a warning. It carries engine mechanical procedures and torque values for four engines, diagnosis written separately for the turbodiesel and for the V8 that can burn natural gas, transmission, transfer case and axle overhaul, brake hydraulic service, steering and suspension specifications, and wiring diagrams and body repair information written out for each of the five body configurations.
