Known issues on the 1990 C2500. The federal record carries three recalls for this year. A replacement fuel filter can seal imperfectly at its connection and let gasoline escape toward an ignition source; a replacement oil filter can do the same with engine oil; and incorrect instructions for adjusting the rear lap-shoulder belts can leave an occupant loosely restrained in a collision. Of six owner complaints, service brakes lead with three, then the power train with two and tires with one. Brake hydraulic overhaul, driveline diagnosis and belt service are all specified here.
