1994 Chevrolet Lumina Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1994 Chevrolet Lumina narrows the engine bay to two V6s: the 189-cubic-inch overhead-valve 3.1 and the 207-cubic-inch twin-cam 3.4, both naturally aspirated and gasoline-fueled. Two bodies remain, a two-door coupe and a four-door sedan, and three trims, Base, Euro and Z34. With only two engines to distinguish, the fuel, ignition, cooling and emissions material stays comparatively compact, and the chassis and body sections apply across the whole range.

Known issues on the 1994 Lumina. Two recalls appear on the federal record. One covers replacement fuel pressure regulators assembled without their O-ring and retainer, a defect that lets fuel escape at the connection where it can be ignited. The other concerns aftermarket combination corner and bumper lamp assemblies sold without the required amber side reflectors, so the car is harder to see from the side after dark. Owners logged 178 complaints, weighted toward service brakes with 63, then the electrical system with 17 and the suspension with 13 — brake hydraulics, circuit diagnosis and suspension geometry all covered here.
