Known issues on the 1990 G20. The federal record carries three recalls for this model year. One is a seat failure: the rear bench seat back can separate from its cushion in an accident. The remaining two concern replacement filters, one on the fuel side, where a poor seal can let gasoline escape and ignite, and one on the oil side, where lost sealing drains the engine and risks a fire. Seventeen complaints have been logged; engine and engine cooling and the service brakes lead with three each and the suspension follows with two. Cooling, brake hydraulic and suspension diagnostics are all covered.
