Known issues on the 1986 G20. A single recall is recorded federally for this model year: replacement oil filters that seal inadequately, letting the engine lose oil with a fire possible if it reaches something hot. The complaint record holds five reports, with the power train, the seats and the service brakes each drawing one and the rest scattered. None of that points at one weak system, so the useful material here is the ordinary kind, brake hydraulic specifications, transmission and axle procedures, seat and interior fastener torque values, and the diagnostics that belong with them.

I HAD ZANESVILLE JOINT AND CLUTCH MAKE ME A NEW DRIVESHAFT FOR MY 1986 CHEVY G-20 VAN, BECAUSE MY OLD DRIVESHAFT WAS CREATING A VIBRATION. THIS NEW ONE PIECE DRIVESHAFT WAS APROX.
