1987 Chevrolet G20 Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 1987 G20. Three recalls sit on this year's federal record, and two of them are about fuel escaping. Replacement fuel filters can seal poorly at the connection and weep gasoline, which near an ignition source becomes a fire. The lower fuel tank filler pipe can carry small holes at its spot welds and spill fuel during refueling or while turning. The third involves oil filters that lose their seal and drain the engine.
