Known issues on the 1984 K2500. The 1984 K2500 has no recall history and no owner complaints at NHTSA, which makes it one of the quieter entries in the federal database. The manual is therefore a maintenance and overhaul reference first: procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics for the 6.2L diesel and the two gasoline engines, and for the standard cab pickup around them, with the same content applying to all three trims.
