Front-wheel-drive hybrids join the Tucson range for 2026, with a new SE Hybrid and Blue SE Hybrid lowering the entry price, while the N Line Hybrid is dropped. Known issues on the 2026 Tucson. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. Connecting rod bolts may have been improperly tightened, which can cause engine damage and an oil leak, so dealers replace the engine. B-pillar side impact sensors may have been misassembled and delay air bag deployment. Front camera software may make the automatic emergency braking system apply the brakes unexpectedly.
