2007 Hyundai Tucson Service and Repair Manual

The 2007 Hyundai Tucson factory service and repair manual works to this build year and to the engine and trim actually under your hood, so the clearances, torque figures and procedure sequences you work to are the ones Hyundai published for this Tucson rather than values carried over from an adjacent model year.

Known issues on the 2007 Tucson. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first concerns the driver frontal air bag inflator module, identified during static air bag deployment testing conducted by NHTSA using fifth percentile female dummies, and the condition can cause increased risk of injury to the driver under certain crash conditions. The second covers exterior lighting: a malfunctioning stop lamp switch may cause the brake lights to fail to illuminate, and any of these malfunctions could lead to a crash. The third again centers on the stop lamp switch in the brake light circuit, where any of those malfunctions, alone or in combination, may lead to a crash. The fourth is a further brake light switch campaign, covering failure to illuminate the stop lamps during braking or an inability to disengage the cruise control. Owners have filed 85 complaints for the year and Hyundai has issued 37 technical service bulletins.

From tracing a stop lamp switch fault through the brake light circuit to air bag system service or a scheduled interval on the 2.0L or 2.7L, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for this 2007 Tucson.
