Known issues on the 2024 Tahoe. Three recalls are recorded for this year. One covers brake control module software that may not light the low brake fluid warning, leaving the truck to be driven with reduced braking and no indication of why. Another concerns connecting rod and crankshaft defects in the 6.2-liter gasoline V8 that can damage the engine badly enough to stop it. The third applies to diesel trucks fitted with an incorrect replacement fuel tank, which can leak in a rollover crash. Of 63 complaints, 15 name the engine and 11 the electrical system.
