Known issues on the 2021 Tahoe. Eight recalls attach to this model year. A software fault can drop power steering assist at startup or on the move. Rear driveshafts with components that were not heat treated properly can fail outright and take drive power with them. A fuel tank assembled without adhesive between the layers of its shell can leak, and a fuel pump control module can cut fuel flow and stall the engine. Restraints appear twice, once for belt brackets left unsecured at the front-row center position and once for incorrect fastening bolts. The engine draws 102 of 443 complaints.
