Known issues on the 2002 Tahoe. Six recalls are recorded for this year. One involves antilock brakes that can engage without cause, which lengthens low-speed stops and shows up most in regions where roads are salted. Another covers second-row head restraints that fold rearward with the seatback and create pinch points sharp enough to trap a finger. A third concerns replacement wheel hub assemblies whose inboard retention nut can loosen far enough for the wheel to come away. Brakes again lead complaints, 153 of 463, with steering at 42 and tires at 33.
