Known issues on the 2010 Tahoe. Four recalls attach to this model year. Three of them cover a passenger frontal inflator that can rupture on deployment and throw sharp metal into the cabin, each drawn around trucks sold or registered in particular states. The fourth is an aftermarket item: seat covers sewn with heavy thread that will not tear away correctly over a seat-mounted side air bag, so the bag may deploy improperly. Owners logged 319 complaints, 116 of them on air bags, 60 on body structure and 14 on the electrical system.
