2023 Ford Transit Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2023 Ford Transit is written for two engines, a turbocharged 2.0L DOHC inline-four diesel and a naturally aspirated 3.5L DOHC V6 gasoline engine, in four body styles: the two-door cab and chassis, the four-door extended passenger van, the two-door standard cargo van and the four-door standard passenger van. Six trims are listed, Jumbo, Larga, Mediana, Pasajeros, Pasajeros 410L and Pasajeros 460E. Procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics follow the engine split first and the body split second, so nothing for the diesel is read off V6 figures.

Known issues on the 2023 Transit. Eight recalls follow the 2023 Transit. One concerns a fuel tank grade vent valve that may not be welded to the tank shell, allowing a fuel leak. Another covers insufficient rear axle lubricant that can damage and seize the tail bearing. A third involves Transit Trail vans whose tires can contact the front wheel arch liner and body flange. Others cover the rearview camera, an incorrect steering coupler cover from an earlier repair, and an accessory kit affecting the defroster and HVAC. Owners have filed 72 complaints with NHTSA, with no leading category. This manual's fuel tank, axle, tire, steering and camera procedures cover those items.
