Known issues on the 2023 Transit. Eight recalls follow the 2023 Transit. One concerns a fuel tank grade vent valve that may not be welded to the tank shell, allowing a fuel leak. Another covers insufficient rear axle lubricant that can damage and seize the tail bearing. A third involves Transit Trail vans whose tires can contact the front wheel arch liner and body flange. Others cover the rearview camera, an incorrect steering coupler cover from an earlier repair, and an accessory kit affecting the defroster and HVAC.
