Known issues on the 2015 Transit. The 2015 Transit's recall count reaches eight. Ford's own campaigns cover a trailer tow module that lets water in and corrodes its wiring, producing rapidly flashing turn signals and a short-circuit fire risk, and a driveshaft coupling whose failure leaves the van unable to move and can let the loose driveshaft strike surrounding parts. Several others involve upfitter-installed foldaway seats and wheelchair lifts. Owners have filed 192 complaints with NHTSA, and 72 of them concern the power train, with 21 on the engine and 16 on the electrical system.
