2022 Ford Transit Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2022 Ford Transit covers six trims, Jumbo, Larga, Mediana, Pasajeros, Pasajeros 410L and Pasajeros 460E, across the four-door extended passenger van, the two-door cab and chassis, the two-door standard cargo van and the four-door standard passenger van. Two engines are documented, a naturally aspirated 3.5L DOHC V6 on gasoline and a turbocharged 2.0L DOHC inline-four diesel. The manual keeps the procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics for the V6 and the diesel apart, and gives each body configuration its own chassis and electrical material.

Known issues on the 2022 Transit. Eight recalls are on federal record for the 2022 Transit, and rearview camera problems account for several of them: a rearview camera fault, a camera supplied in the rear video prep kit that does not work once installed, and an image processing module for the 360-degree camera system that may not handle the rearview image. Another campaign covers the front passenger seat belt's automatic locking retractor, which may deactivate. Owners have filed 46 complaints with NHTSA, with no single category standing out in the record. The camera and module wiring diagrams, electrical diagnostics and seat belt retractor procedures in this manual are the reference for those systems.
