2019 Ford Transit Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2019 Transit. Seven recalls apply to the 2019 Transit. Two come from Ford itself: an incorrect driveshaft torsional damper service kit may have been installed, allowing the damper shield to contact the parking brake cable, and on vans with aluminum alloy wheels the wheel mounting surface of the rear axle flange may be warped. The remaining five concern upfitter-installed foldaway seats, their seat belt retractors and wheelchair securement hardware. Owners have filed 44 complaints with NHTSA, without a dominant category in the record.
