Known issues on the 2020 Transit. Owners of the 2020 Transit have eight recalls to track. On all-wheel-drive vans the bolts attaching the rear driveshaft to the transfer case can loosen and let the shaft separate, costing drive or letting the van roll when parked without the parking brake. Side curtain air bags may have an improperly crimped diffuser that detaches during deployment. A poor connection can leave the rearview camera blank or distorted. Owners have filed 83 complaints with NHTSA, 24 of them about the seats, 15 about the power train and 13 about the electrical system.
