Known issues on the 2021 TITAN. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers Continental tires that were over-cured in production, which can develop a sidewall break or belt edge separation and cause sudden air loss or tread loss. The second covers the front turn signal bulbs, which can crack and fail to illuminate, leaving on-coming drivers and pedestrians without warning of a turn. Two recalls cover the automatic transmission parking pawl, which may not engage when the vehicle is shifted into park, allowing a vehicle rollaway. The fifth covers the air bag control unit, which may be missing a spacer that lets the mounting fastener loosen, delaying or preventing air bag deployment in a crash. Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Titan, Titan XD, and Versa vehicles. The front right and/or left turn signal bulb can crack and fail to illuminate.
Consequence
Inoperable front turn signals cannot alert on-coming drivers and/or pedestrians that the vehicle will be turning, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2021 and 2024 Titan vehicles. The Air Bag Control Unit (ACU) may be missing a spacer, which can allow the fastener to loosen and result in an unsecured ACU.
Consequence
An unsecured ACU can prevent or delay air bags from deploying as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy
