This factory service and repair manual for the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado spans five trims, Base, LT, WT, Z71 and ZR2, on two cabs, the four-door crew cab and the four-door extended cab. Known issues on the 2018 Colorado. One recall stands against this year, and it concerns the high-pressure fuel pump: it can detach from where it is mounted and damage a fuel line in the process, which leaks fuel and can lead to a fire. Of 182 complaints on record, 77 concern the power train, 24 the electrical system and 18 steering. The manual answers all three with procedures rather than guesses, from transmission and axle diagnosis to fuel system pressure testing, wiring diagrams with connector and ground locations, and steering gear specifications and torque values.
