Known issues on the 2005 Colorado. Three recalls are on the federal record. The brake lamp switch accounts for two of them, a circuit that can lose the stop lamps altogether or hold them on continuously, taking the center high-mounted lamp and the cruise control with it, so a following driver has no reliable signal. The third covers the front center seating position in cabs without a rear seat, which does not meet the federal child restraint standard.
