Known issues on the 2012 Q7. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two trace back to the same fuel pump flange: it can crack or leak past its butyl tape repair, and a fuel leak near an ignition source raises the risk of a fire. A third recall covers the fuel injection system, where a leak in the injection lines carries the same fire risk. A fourth recall addresses the certification label, which lists an incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating and can allow the vehicle to be overloaded, raising crash risk. Remedy

Consequence

Remedy
Audi will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the flange, replacing any flanges that are cracked. If the flange is not cracked, dealers will clean the pump flange and install a butyl rubber band
