Known issues on the 2010 Q7. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two cover the fuel pump: butyl tape used as an interim fix may not stop fuel from leaking, and the fuel pump flange itself can crack, either way allowing a leak that becomes a fire risk near an ignition source. A third covers the certification label, which lists an incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating, allowing the vehicle to be overloaded and increasing the risk of a crash. Owners have filed 29 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are logged.
From a fuel pump flange inspection to confirming the correct axle weight rating or a routine service interval, this manual keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2010 Q7.
