Known issues on the 2009 300. The 2009 300 carries 5 recalls on the federal record. Certain rear-wheel-drive cars may have left the plant missing a front wheel spindle nut, which could allow a tire and wheel to come off while driving. Tire pressure sensors on certain cars, a recall covering 175 vehicles, might report a pressure other than the real one, so a low tire could go unnoticed. The dual-stage driver air bag inflator in certain vehicles could take on moisture and burst, and owners were told not to drive them until it was replaced. Air bags account for 38 of the 95 complaints and the electrical system for 32; 4 complaints reported a crash, 2 a fire and 1 an injury.
