This factory service and repair manual for the 2007 Audi A3 Quattro is built around the exact 3.2L V6 (engine code BUB) and hatchback trim that left the factory that year, so the torque values and diagnostic steps inside are the ones Audi wrote for this specific configuration, not a generic A3 substitute.

Known issues on the 2007 A3 Quattro. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year, all involving the driver's frontal air bag inflator module and the fuel tank assembly. Two separate recalls cover the driver's frontal air bag inflator, which under excessive internal pressure can explode or rupture during deployment, sending metal fragments into the vehicle and risking serious injury or death. The third covers the fuel tank ventilation valve, whose internal spring may not hold closed under extreme driving conditions, allowing fuel to leak and creating a fire risk in the presence of an ignition source. Owners have filed 52 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are logged. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
From an air bag module inspection to a fuel tank ventilation check or routine V6 service, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2007 A3 Quattro.
