Known issues on the 2004 Odyssey. A separate pair of recalls covers an air bag control module that can misread electrical noise and trigger the front and side air bags and seatbelt pretensioners with no crash involved. Beyond the air bag system, Honda recalled the ignition switch interlock lever, which can deform and let the key be removed without the automatic transmission in park, allowing the vehicle to roll away; the fuel pump, which can corrode at an electrical terminal and stall the engine without warning; and the automatic transmission, where heat buildup between the countershaft and secondary shaft second gears can chip or break gear teeth and lock the transmission up.
