2002 Isuzu N-Series Service and Repair Manual

On the 2002 Isuzu N-Series, the NPR, NPR HD and NQR continued as low-cab-forward trucks with the 4.8-liter 4HE1-TC turbodiesel, while NPR and NPR HD buyers could still pick a 5.7-liter V8 gasoline engine; it was the last full year before the 6.0-liter gas V8 began to appear. Known issues on the 2002 N-Series. One recall is on federal record: trucks with the optional oil pan heater (RPO IG3) can gather debris at the heater plug and extension cord connection, overheating the cord and melting the plug, which raises the risk of fire.
