2000 GMC K3500 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2000 GMC K3500 covers four body configurations, the standard cab pickup, the two-door cab & chassis, the four-door crew cab pickup and the extended cab pickup, and three engines. The turbocharged 6.5L diesel V8 is the only one with forced induction; the 7.4L and 5.7L gasoline V8s are naturally aspirated overhead-valve units. Sierra SL, Sierra SLE and Sierra SLT are the trims, and the same procedures and specifications serve each of them.

Known issues on the 2000 K3500. Nothing has been recorded against the 2000 K3500, NHTSA listing no recalls and no owner complaints for it. That puts the manual's whole value in its working content: procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics for the turbocharged 6.5L diesel V8 and the two gasoline V8s, and for the four body configurations they were fitted to, whichever of the three Sierra trims the truck carries.
