Known issues on the 1994 K3500. Two recalls apply to this model year, both to replacement filters rather than to parts fitted at the factory. On the fuel side, a filter that does not seal at the connection can let fuel escape toward an ignition source; on the oil side, the same sealing failure can leave the engine without oil. Fire is the consequence in each case. Three owner complaints are logged with NHTSA, all of them under visibility. Fuel system procedures and torque values cover the first pair, and the wiring diagrams reach the circuits behind the third.
