Known issues on the 1984 K3500. No recall has been issued against the 1984 K3500 and no owner complaint is logged with NHTSA, which leaves the federal record empty for this model year. Consequence
THIS CONDITION MAY CAUSE INADEQUATE SEALING AND LOSS OF ENGINE OIL, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A FIRE.
Remedy
HONEYWELL WILL REPLACE THE AFFECTED OIL FILTERS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN DURING NOVEMBER 20
