1996 GMC K1500 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 1996 GMC K1500 covers four engines across three cab styles. Known issues on the 1996 K1500. The one recall here involves aftermarket oil filters that seal badly enough to lose engine oil, with fire the possible result. Fourteen owner complaints are logged with NHTSA: six on visibility, four on the service brakes and one on the air bags.
