Known issues on the 1994 E-150 Econoline. Six recalls are on the federal record for the 1994 van. A speed control deactivation switch could overheat and start an underhood fire, a parking brake pedal fouling a wire harness could fail to hold the van on a grade, and a neon interior lamp transformer could overheat and burn. Aftermarket lamps and a misplaced cruise control fuse account for the rest. Owners have filed 385 complaints with NHTSA, dominated by the service brakes, then engine and engine cooling, then steering, all documented here.
