Known issues on the 1993 F-350. Eight recalls are on federal record. The speed control deactivation switch could leak internally and then overheat, smoke or burn, which puts an underhood fire in play, and a related campaign moved a cruise control fuse that had been placed in the output circuit instead of the input feed. A carbon steel fuel pressure regulator could wear out and leak, and the front bumper U-clip nuts could fracture until the bumper separated. Owners have filed 112 complaints with NHTSA, led by service brakes, engine cooling and fuel system entries.
