Known issues on the 1993 C1500. The federal record for this truck is clean, with no recalls issued and no owner complaints against it. What the manual offers, then, is not a fault list but the working reference: overhaul clearances and torque sequences for each of the five engines, the separate fuel handling procedures the CNG-capable V8 requires, transmission and rear axle service, brake hydraulic specifications, steering and suspension adjustment values, and wiring diagrams with the diagnostic charts that go with them.
