After a 25-year absence, the Prelude name returns for 2026 as a two-door hybrid sport coupe sold in the US in one well-equipped grade. It pairs a 2.0L Atkinson-cycle four with Honda's two-motor hybrid system for 200 hp, adds the S+ Shift simulated gear mode, adaptive dampers and Brembo front brakes, and shares much of its chassis hardware with the Civic Type R.
