Known issues on the 2024 Frontier. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the driver's frontal air bag inflator module, which can absorb moisture and deploy improperly, raising the risk of injury in a crash. The second covers the front right-side lower control arm ball joint, built oversized on affected trucks, which can corrode and separate from the lower link, causing a loss of steering control. The third covers the right-side headlight assemblies, which may carry missing or illegible aim markings, leaving the road improperly lit and reducing driver visibility. No complaints or technical service bulletins are logged for the year. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
From a driver's-side air bag inspection to a front lower ball joint check or a headlight aim correction, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2024 Frontier.
