Known issues on the 2022 F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis. Loose or missing fasteners drive three of the four recalls recorded against this chassis. The intermediate steering shaft bolt may be improperly tightened and let the shaft separate from the steering gear, the steering wheel attachment bolt can loosen and leave the wheel detached, and the rear brake caliper bolts may not be tightened correctly, letting a caliper loosen and damage the wheel or brake lines. Owners have logged three complaints with NHTSA, one each on the power train, engine and service brakes. The manual's steering and brake torque values and procedures for the 7.3L V8 chassis cover those systems.
