2020 Ford F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2020 Ford F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis covers the Base Stripped trim of the incomplete chassis with the 7.3L V8, a 445 cubic inch OHV gasoline engine, naturally aspirated and the only engine listed. One engine and one trim keep the scope tight, and the procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics cover the V8 along with the rear axle, steering shaft and suspension on the chassis, which is where this year's recall and complaint record concentrates.

Known issues on the 2020 F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis. The rear axle and the intermediate steering shaft are what the two recalls on this chassis concern. Inadequate rear axle lubricant can seize the rear wheel bearings and lead to rear axle or driveshaft failure, with loss of motive power and a parking brake that no longer holds; and the steering shaft bolt may be improperly tightened, allowing the shaft to separate from the steering gear and steering to be lost. Owners have logged five complaints with NHTSA, all five on the suspension. The manual's rear axle and steering procedures, torque values and suspension procedures for the 7.3L V8 chassis address those systems.
