Known issues on the 2021 E350. The federal record lists 12 recalls for certain 2021 E350 vehicles. One involves a fuel pump that could shut down and remove drive power. Loose side crash sensor connectors on certain cars could delay air bags and seat belts in a side impact. On certain cars with a heated leather steering wheel, a software error could stop the system sensing hands off the wheel while DISTRONIC was active. On certain others, rear seat belt locking retractors could release too early and leave a child seat loose. Of 13 complaints, the engine and electrical system draw 4 each, and one reported a fire.
