Known issues on the 2009 E350. The load-leveling rear suspension is the concern in one of the four recalls naming certain 2009 E350 vehicles, and it applies only to certain 4Matic wagon versions built within a limited production window: a connecting rod in that system could fail, reducing control. The remaining three address a sunroof glass panel at risk of detaching, through inadequate fastening or deteriorating bonding. Fifty-eight owner complaints are logged, 24 of them on the fuel and propulsion system; 5 reported an injury, 4 a fire and 2 a crash. Two complaints are recorded against the 2009 E-Class line.
