Known issues on the 2013 E350. Seven recalls are listed for certain 2013 E350 vehicles. Certain convertible and coupe versions sold or ever registered in the Zone A states and territories fall under two of them, because an air bag inflator could explode and throw sharp metal fragments. A software fault in the emergency call system of certain vehicles could set its date and time wrong and pass responders an inaccurate location, which an over-the-air update or a dealer software check corrected. On certain convertible and coupe versions, a front passenger air bag of the wrong type may have been fitted during an earlier repair. Owners lodged 157 complaints, 48 of them about air bags and 29 about service brakes; 13 reported a crash, 10 an injury and 4 a fire.
