Known issues on the 2016 E350. Of the five recalls naming certain 2016 E350 vehicles, one targets certain cars built from April 16 to April 22, 2015, whose engine compartment seal may have had its internal steel cable damaged during supplier rework; the loose seal could stick to the opened hood and drop onto engine or exhaust parts, creating a fire risk. Another covers certain vehicles whose driver air bag could deploy without cause, remedied with added grounding on the steering components. A third applies to certain vehicles with emergency call software that could report the wrong date and time and relay an inaccurate location to responders.
