The rear center seat belt's automatic locking retractor can deactivate improperly, leaving a child restraint system unsecured. The heating pads behind both side-view mirrors may not bond correctly, letting the mirror glass detach and reduce driver visibility. A tie rod fastener connecting the brake booster to the brake master cylinder may have been improperly assembled, which can let the master cylinder separate and cause a loss of brake function. The front passenger seat weight sensor can crack and short circuit, failing to suppress the air bag as intended, or in a later filing causing the air bags to deploy unintentionally during a crash. The rearview camera's tailgate wire harness may fatigue and break, cutting out the backup camera image. The rear subframe can corrode at the suspension mounting points, risking rear suspension component failure and a loss of vehicle handling.
