Known issues on the 2017 Ridgeline. Nine recalls are on federal record for this model year. A cracked fuel pump feed port can let pressurized fuel leak out and raise the risk of fire, and separately a failing in-tank fuel pump can stall the engine while driving. Corrosion in the rear wiring harness can unexpectedly trigger the vehicle stability assist system. A damaged hood latch striker can let the hood open while driving and block the driver's view, and a broken rearview camera wiring harness can knock out rear visibility. A manufacturing error in the connecting rod bearing can cause it to wear and seize, damaging the engine. A cracked front passenger occupant-classification sensor can short circuit and deploy the air bag unintentionally, and rear subframe corrosion at the suspension mounting points can lead to rear suspension failure and loss of control. A recalled Genuine Accessory tonneau cover can also separate from the vehicle in wind and become a road hazard. Owners have filed 337 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are logged for the 2017 Ridgeline.
