Known issues on the 2020 Ridgeline. Nine recalls are on federal record for this model year. The Honda Genuine Accessory tonneau cover can flip and buckle in wind, deforming its hinges until the rear panel separates and becomes a road hazard. The hood latch striker can crack and separate, letting the hood open while driving and obstruct the driver's view. The bonding behind the side-view mirror heating pads can fail, allowing the mirror glass to detach and reduce visibility. A tie rod fastener connecting the brake booster to the master cylinder can be improperly assembled, letting the master cylinder separate and cause a loss of brake function. The in-tank fuel pump can fail outright and stall the engine while driving. Two separate recalls cover the front passenger seat weight sensor, which can crack and short-circuit and cause the air bag to deploy unintentionally in a crash. The rearview camera's tailgate wire harness can fatigue and break, killing the backup camera image. And on Ridgeline trucks sold in a specific list of states, the rear subframe can corrode at the suspension mounting points until a rear suspension component fails.
