Known issues on the 2018 Ridgeline. Eight recalls are on federal record for this model year. The fuel pump feed port can crack after exposure to acids such as car wash soaps, letting pressurized fuel leak and raising fire risk. Improperly manufactured rivets on the front powered seats can break in a crash, leaving the seat unsecured to the floor. The accessory tonneau cover's hinges can deform in wind, allowing the rear panel to separate and become a road hazard. The hood latch striker can separate from the hood, letting it open while driving and block the driver's view. Opening and closing the tailgate can break the rearview camera wiring harness, knocking out rear visibility. The in-tank fuel pump may fail outright, causing an engine stall while driving.
