2019 Ram 3500 Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2019 3500. The diesel's high-pressure fuel pump is one subject of the 14 recalls on the 2019 3500. On certain trucks with the diesel engine, the high-pressure fuel pump could fail and stall the engine with no warning; dealers replaced the pump, updated powertrain software and checked related fuel parts. Certain trucks had wiper arms that could work loose and leave the wipers unable to clear the glass properly. On certain pickups, misaligned tailgate strikers could stop the gate from latching. The diesel fuel system leads the 134 complaints at 27, ahead of the fuel/propulsion system (22) and engine (21); 10 complaints reported a crash.
