Known issues on the 2018 3500. An anti-lock brake failure is among the 10 recalls naming the 2018 3500. On certain trucks, the brake hydraulic control unit could fail, taking the anti-lock brakes, stability control and traction control with it, until the unit or its motor was replaced. A defect in manufacture could let the side curtain air bag inflators on certain trucks burst and throw metal fragments. Complaints reach 801, led by service brakes (499), hydraulic service brakes (141), the electrical system (137) and vehicle speed control (107); 16 complaints reported a crash and 1 a death.
