Known issues on the 2016 Town & Country. The federal record holds 5 recalls for the 2016 Town & Country, and power train leads its 525 complaints with 187. On certain 2016 Town & Country vans from a specified build window, the transmission pump could seize and cost the van its drive. Certain vans from another short window had hood striker bolts that could work loose and let the hood fly open while driving, a recall covering 1,625 vehicles. A third, covering 99 vehicles, involved certain vans assembled over two days whose third-row seatback nuts were not torqued correctly, so a seatback could separate from its frame.
