Known issues on the 2001 Town & Country. Suspension and electrical faults account for the 2 recalls on the federal record for the 2001 Town & Country. On certain 2001 Town & Country vans, a lower control arm pivot bolt could fracture and let the arm pull away from the crossmember, with loss of control the result; dealers fitted new bolts and nuts on both sides. On certain vans, condensation from the dash air conditioning ducts could drip into the radio and short it, sending current to the rear speakers and risking a speaker fire.
